I have a very, very long way to go. We are not, perhaps, as willing to be seen authentically because none of us is as pure as Jesus was. What had he to fear in exposing himself to our God?<br /><br />I hope, as my writing grows stronger and hits closer to the bone, that I will remember that gratitude has been one of the saving graces given to me from someplace OUTSIDE of myself. And that my words will be about more than the pain, but mostly about the gifts I was blessed with from other people, from nature's beauty, from the arts--ALL gifts from God--that brought me through those times. <br /><br />Anyway, thank you for this entry. It made me think a great deal. I think that bad fruit can come from a good tree that's in trouble, that has a disease... ultimately, we can only know what kind of a tree we've been when we are done, right? I don't know.
